Are you struggling with maintaining your dogs’ coat at home? Not sure what tools to use or how to use them properly? Are you having trouble keeping your dog still while you’re trying to brush them?

Please join us for this workshop! Kelli will demonstrate the tips, tricks, tools and techniques that will help to make at home coat maintenance a breeze!

During the workshop Kelli will use four dogs with different coat types to show you how to:

– Identify your own dog’s coat type.

– Find the ideal grooming tools for that particular coat type.

– USE those particular grooming tools appropriately.

– Use different handling techniques.

Kelli will also cover skunk treatments, tick removal, rolling in filth, and burr removal, common myths about grooming and answer any questions.

Kelli will demonstrate on the four live dogs with different coat types:

  • Brushing/combing
  • Undercoat removal, finding matts/dematting
  • Nail clipping/dremelling
  • Feet/pads trimming
  • Teeth brushing
  • Ear cleaning/plucking
  • Shampooing/conditioning
  • Eye area cleaning
  • Spot cleaning

This is workshop is for humans only.  No dogs please – there will be demo dogs used during the workshop.
